What is a Digital Senior Art Director?
A Digital Senior Art Director creates inspiring and challenging conceptual ideas for clients that work in a truly integrated way, both online and offline. They are responsible for the quality of execution and quality of thinking and must come up with the best creative solutions achievable within budget.
They work as a team with the Copywriters and Designers and are responsible for seeing the idea through the creative process to final sign off. They must work according to Brand guidelines and show understanding and relevance to the target market.
Digital Senior Art Directors must be able to effectively visualise concepts and pass them on to designers for them to create the end product, giving direction on photography style, typography, print material and finishing of stock.
They provide direction to Designers on how concepts will be delivered, attend pre-production meets with TV crew and casting sessions and attend all photo shoots and location visits, providing direction to photographers to meet the client’s brief.
Skills and experience necessary for this role:
Experience from either a digital design or art direction and ideas background. Maybe used to work as part of a conceptual team and split to work solo. Need to be able to create scamps or visualise ideas in Photoshop.

6-10 years of relevant work experience
£45,000 – £55,000
