Back End Node.js Developer / London / Permanent / £45-55k
My client is a very well established creative digital agency based in the heart of Shoreditch, although they are not the biggest team (around 20), the impact they are having in terms of recognition for what they do is definitely the opposite.
They take pride in providing fantastic looking products to both clients and consumers, they love to experiment with different technologies, and brands they work for vary in terms of size and industry, so a very creative and challenging environment indeed!
Although a mid-sized agency, their ongoing success in delivering high quality services is paving the way for significant growth in the future.
With that being said they are on the lookout for a Back End Node.js Developer to join the team. The role will be heavily creative with full involvement in aspects of a given product development cycle, you will also be responsible for leading a team of six Front and Back End Developers, passing on your expertise in your given background, particularly with Node.js. Bear in mind though that the team is very well versed, and you will find yourself in a highly skilled and collaborative environment.
This opportunity will pave the way for scope in increasing leadership experience, development with bleeding edge technologies and continuously working on research & development and greenfield projects.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
-Very strong Back End Development experience, either Open Source, Java or .NET environment
-Strong Node.js experience
-Good knowledge and working experience of MongoDB
-Strong communication skills
-Experience in both web and mobile, as well as Front and Back End Development
Experience of mentoring or leading a team is also highly desirable.
