Our client is a Top 100 London Media Agency that is pushing for excellence and success and has seen huge growth both in billings and staff in recent years. Growth has not prevented retention of a small agency culture and they actively promote staff training and development with best in class training programs.
The role sits across various high profile clients and you will lead a team of 12 people, so previous management experience is crucial, and you will work alongside other GAD's within the Display Activation Department. You have the overall responsibility for the delivery of investment and activation strategies in Print and Digital media for all of the clients within your team.
The key day to day tasks of the Digital Account Director include:
*Ensure that all of your team members are aware of the Print and Digital strategy for each client
*Work with Communications Planning and Digital Communications Planning to ensure that briefs and the briefing process for your Display Activation team are as effective as possible
*Encourage and deliver consistently innovative and creative media solutions from your team
*Ensure that your team provide accurate and insightful data analysis to drive campaign effectiveness
*Ensure that your team develop a comprehensive understanding of the trading dynamics underpinning the Print and Digital markets, and how to maximise leverage for your clients business
*Deliver forecasts of spend by client by media, monthly, to the Head of Display
*Deliver forecasts of predicted buying performance versus guarantees for each client, monthly, to the Head of Display and Digital Trading Directors
*The Group Account Director is the main point of contact for senior clients for any issues involving trading and implementational planning for Print and Digital media
*Ensure all client requests are met, surpassed and manage client expectations effectively
*Respond to all client briefs and requests in a timely, professional and efficient manner
*Build a trusted adviser relationship with the client team at a senior level
Key attributes of the Digital Account Director include:

*Strategic client management experience
*Proven ability to build strong intra-company relationships
*Proven track record of business development
*Creative, open minded and able to 'think outside the box'
*Deep understanding of
oMedia tools and techniques (e.g. research and response evaluation)
oThe Digital landscape and different communication channels
oEmerging media platforms
*A high level of commercial awareness
*Excellent negotiation skills
*Experience with appropriate technologies E.g. Bid management and 3rd party tracking
