An amazing opportunity has arisen for an International Planning/Buying Junior Account Manager to work at a highly successful media communications agency located in the creative heart of London, made up of some of the best minds in the industry. Their work spans many things, including media planning, digital marketing, research, analytics, PR, and social media.

The International Planning/Buying Junior Account manager will be working on a top energy account which is the brand guardian of all communications and media programmes produced by the agency both centrally and locally. The geographical remit is for Europe, Middle East and Africa. The new International Planning/Buying Junior Account Manager will need to build strong relationships with key day to day clients, the wider client base, as well as the creative agency. You will be the client's trusted media partner and advisor.

What will you be doing?
*Input into strategy development in sync with Account Director/Group Account Director
*Local market campaign management:
*Provide support with campaign briefing - providing comments on target, channel, budget, timeline
*Support and advise local market teams to ensure their media plans comply with the central brief and strategy.
*Be able to confidently challenge and question assumptions and recommendations that have been made to ensure the best possible delivery for the client
*Lead campaign and competitive reporting and delivery of meaningful insights
*Pan regional planning and buying: Evaluate media proposals and negotiate rates/programs to ensure highest value and efficiencies are delivered to the client
*Gain full understanding of the clients' business and the market they occupy so that you can confidently speak from a position of authority and help identify the issues they face

What have you done in the past?
*Good with Excel, PPT, Word and Outlook
*Excellent verbal and written skills, Flawless execution and accuracy
*Ability to balance the need for strategic thinking with the need to deliver and get things done
*Ability to multi-task, managing complex projects and multiple stakeholders
*Strong relationship builder with team and other departments
*Strong desire to learn & to develop your media skills, as well as those of the team
*Time management and organisation skills
*Experience managing international accounts within a respected media agency, with experience dealing with markets outside Western Europe an advantage
*Understanding of overall marketing functions, integrated communications, and communication channels beyond traditional media
*High level of numeracy with a particular ability to analyse and interrogate numbers and produce compelling arguments
