An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Media Planning/Buying Broadcast Account Executive to work at a highly successful top 5 agency, which has seen huge growth both in billings and staff in recent years. Growth has not prevented retention of a small agency culture and they actively promote staff training and development with best in class training programs.
The successful Media Planning/Buying Broadcast Account Executive will be working within a tightly knit AV department of 45 people. You will be part of a team of 6, reporting into an Account Director, with the team responsible for both the planning and buying of all audio visual media: TV, VOD, cinema, radio and OOH. This agency is focused on producing gold standard work for clients that answers their strategic challenges through relevant AV solutions. They thrive by keeping ahead of the game on emerging media, use market leading systems to aid planning, produce top class buyers through a focus on internal training via their AV Academy programme and never miss delivering client guarantees.
You'll have constant client contact on all 3 accounts liaising over plans, sign offs, TV laydowns and trips to the client's offices to present post campaign analyses and AV strategies face to face. These are three very different but equally important accounts where you'll be given instant responsibility and will play a real part in delivering their AV media.
What will you be doing?
*Effectively plan and buy TV, VOD, Cinema and Radio airtime and manage campaigns across a designated client portfolio.
*Help meet deliver clients' business objectives and KPIs through execution of plans across all AV channels, produce buying reviews, competitive insights and reporting and present client inductions, working closely with other disciplines within the agency.
*Develop strong relationship with the client team at an appropriate level
*Develop and demonstrate an understanding of the client's industry sector, their competitors and the general industry environment.
*To progress to planning all broadcast media and gain enough knowledge to sell less familiar broadcast media to clients.
What have you done in the past?
*Good understanding and experience of TV, VOD, Cinema & Radio trading and marketplace.
*Clear understanding of the intricacies of the TV trading market.
*Excellent knowledge of TV trading calculations and the market mechanic
*Exceptional organisational, time keeping, time management, prioritisation, analytical, negotiation and numerical skills.
*Strong skills in Powerpoint, Excel, Word and on systems including DDS and METIS.
*Excellent written, oral presentation and analytics skills. Ability to prepare and deliver clear and concise presentations.
*Ability to pick up working practices of new systems such as Advantedge, Salesedge, Webkarma, TV Planner, RACE, J-ET.
*Pro-active attitude, positive outlook and proven ability to handle pressure.
*Ability to develop core working relationships with clients, saleshouses and internal teams.
*Ambition for self-development and progression.
