What my client is looking for:
You'll already have gained solid UX and UCD skills and experience across multiple platforms and will be ready to take the next step. You'll be able to tell a great user story and clearly articulate the rationale for your work. My client will expect you to be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of how to balance commercial and editorial requirements with user needs. You'll work closely with a Senior User Experience Designer and the rest of the team to develop further.

The Role
You can influence
*You champion their audience user experience whenever and wherever you can both internally and externally because you know the value of 'why'. You will be able to communicate your knowledge and understanding in a compelling way that makes people want to work with you and seek you out for your opinions and expertise.
Your user experience skills and approach
*Your experience with user centred design means that you focus on the problem and don't get hung up on the solution. You bring others with you through the process, testing and learning whether the hypothesis holds water or not, whether the designs are cutting the mustard or not and if not, you can pivot and learn, moving on quickly.
*You know the audience, what's relevant to your work and why. If anything is missing, you know where, when and how to complete that knowledge.
*You do what you say you'll do and always deliver in a timely fashion because you plan and know what's deliverable.
*You aren't phased by the differences across various platforms because you've already worked through a fair few issues, learning along the way.
*Regular stand ups help you focus and articulate what you are working on, any blockers and you always bring suggestions for resolving them.
*You listen and learn with and from your team members in the agile development process, adapting with the working rhythm.
*You can explain and demonstrate your work, theories and evidence clearly and can take and make constructive criticism to learn and grow.
*Data analysis is your secret sauce and accessible design is in your DNA.
