The Art Director will have a portfolio that is able to demonstrate their ability to bring concepts to life, that in turn drive a call to action. This role comes with plenty of responsibility, autonomy, client contact and opportunities to create award-winning work.
You will find yourself working sometimes on your own and sometimes in a team (you will probably be paired with a copywriter, unless you are already in a team...) where you will be working on both paid and pitch work and ensuring that the work that you produce is highly creative and effective. The role will see you coming up with strong creative ideas and seeing them through to completion. You'll be part of a close-knit team and help out on sorts of things...
Your responsibilities will include developing concepts that go beyond just meeting the brief, incorporating innovative thought. You will be working on more than just ideas but also actually getting involved in scamp production, producing Mac visuals, storyboards, scripts, mood boards etc.
You will be a truly integrated thinker, coming up with ideas that can be rolled out across various platforms, both ATL and BTL and you will be a team player, working collaboratively and proactively with the other creatives in the team, the designers, artworkers, editors, producers and others to see concepts through to completion.
You will be joining an agency where you will be fortunate enough to work on some pretty inspiring briefs for a variety of clients, most of which are in the charity/ NFP/ third sector. So, your work can help save lives and make this world a better place.
