An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Performance Planning Manager to really make an impact at a top 10 global communications planning and implementation agency based in London who devise multi-media communications strategies for some of the world's most innovative and creative brands.

The role is to work on a top insurance account, within the Performance Planning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all performance activity for the account. The main focus is in TV and digital and a key element of the role will be maximising the sales performance of the clients brand activations which dominate the media spend (TV, Sponsorship etc.). It's important that you are a great communicator liaising both with clients, comms planning teams and with all of the activation specialists to deliver activity that is both impactful and measurable. The successful Planning Manager will need to be detail focused, with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver large and exciting projects.

What will you be doing?
*Delivering media solutions that maximise clients ROI from media investment regardless of the success metric being worked too (clicks, sales, engagement etc).
*Work with the comms planning teams to ensure brand activations will deliver against the client's sales targets
*Work with Performance Insight Manager to interpret econometric analysis outputs and provide media recommendations for the client
*Support BD in developing clients business, matching resource to clients needs and pulling in resource where needed form other departments, to drive incremental revenue.
*Be a role model and for managers and execs displaying excellence in client servicing and performance planning process and rigour.
*Take an active role in developing team members to fulfil their potential.
*Lead the client in their understanding of performance planning principles and methods.
*Develop integrated media planning solutions working with wider comms planning and activation teams
*Develop and demonstrate an understanding of the client industry sector, the competitors within that sector and the general industry environment.
*Ensure all client requests are met and surpassed and manage client expectation effectively.
*Lead and develop client understanding of acquisition media planning and implementation across on and off line channels.
*Develop strong relationships with the client team at Senior level.
*Promote the performance planning product and participate in internal training, projects and new business.

Skills needed for the role
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Strong presentation skills.
*Intermediate/advanced excel skills.
*High level of numeracy.
*Deep understanding of:
oPerformance planning principles and methods
oAnalytical methods and tools
oNavigator process
oMedia research tools and techniques
oKey performance media channels
*Workflow management and prioritisation.
*People management.
*Sound financial awareness, including processes and budget control.
