An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Account Director to work at a highly successful agency on a globally-loved sports brand. The agency have seen huge growth both in billings and staff in recent years.
However, growth has not prevented retention of a small agency culture and they actively promote staff training and development with best in class training programs.
The successful Account Director will be working on two of their most dynamic, exciting and challenging clients. Your role as Account Director will be to develop creative brand and new technology launch plans and to maximise the efficiency of performance channels, working with expert teams to continuously adapt media delivery, in particular display and biddable. The job requires inventive thinking, passion for adaptive planning, and an ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
They are looking for an individual who can connect, influence and deliver new levels of creative and strategic thinking to define the future of media.
What will you be doing?
-Deliver innovative plans that are award winning
-Be responsible for all the day to day output from the Media Planning and Exchange teams
-Work with the Media Planning Client Director, and the Digital Strategist to ensure integrated plans are top quality across all channels
-Manage execution of all the key campaigns through to completion.
-Develop fantastic relationships and create team cohesions to collaborate and drive innovation through planning
-Lead the development of the AE who will support you
-Deliver timely global requests on both accounts.
What skills will you have?
-Be highly organised individual capable of running multiple large campaigns and briefs simultaneously.
-Be an expert and passionate about media. You will demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the media landscape, key channels, how they work and how they to connect them together plus be able to articulate how to incorporate new channels and emerging platforms into schedules
-A driver of change. Media Planners need to be ambitious for the agency and their clients; they need to push to deliver new ideas and work more closely together to understand how their channels connect. You will be experts in running brainstorms and encouraging idea generation
-Great at building relationships. You need to have relationships everywhere from clients to media owners and with all internal depts. You will also be required to develop strong relationships across the agency - being the glue that brings the rest of the departments together over the POE plan.
