Senior Planner - Retail - £32-36k

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Planner to join a major media agency, which is part of the large global group. The role would be working across 3 extremely well-known brands on the retail team, working on budgets of £8-10m per client.

Often ranked one of the highest agencies in the industry, they work with a large number of genuinely exciting accounts, covering FMCG, Automotive and Entertainment among others.

Role autonomy is given to employees, with the benefit of being part of a larger network of agencies for support. The soft benefits are known to be some of the best among the industry.


*Working with their Manager to develop implementational strategies and recommendations, thinking about roles of channel and budget split
*Collaborating closely with investment teams, research, and business science departments to help ensure insights become implementation
*Co-ordinating campaigns across media and making sure clients and the team are always up to date.
*Able to demonstrate a pro-active hands-on approach to moving things forward & taking ownership of their role
*Contributing actively in internal idea-generating sessions and in client meetings
*Presenting insights and ideas to clients, and occasionally to the planning floor
*Supervise the delivery of client competitive reporting, and forming useful insights from this
*Proactively keeping the team and clients up to date on all news, ideas or developments from across the industry
*Dealing with any issues or problems that may arise quickly and with professionalism


*Strong knowledge of desktop research & planning tools (e.g. Telmar, DDS, AdDynamix) and their role in the planning
*An ability to analyse research and identify key insights
*A sound understanding of all media and a point of view on the role of online on their current clients, and on emerging media opportunities
*Confident presentation skills, both internally and to clients
*Evidence of having worked collaboratively with teams, buyers, and clients in delivering plans and innovative ideas
