Full Stack Web Developer (Agency) / Permanent / London / £40-50k

PHP / Laravel / JavaScript / HTML5 / CSS3 / SASS

A Full Stack Web Developer is needed for my client, a creative agency based in London, who will act as the sole developer, with significant scope to grow a team in the future, to join the digital team and actively execute, plan and create conceptual phases of projects to deliver robust digital experiences across web and mobile.

Working across a number of globally recognised brands, you will deliver some entertaining and engaging campaigns across a wide range of digital channels. You will work alongside digital designers, project managers as well as the wider creative team, driving passion for technology with a good understanding of both back and front end development.

This role provides a great opportunity for technical ownership, allowing you to implement different technologies where you see fit, based on efficiency of implementation and therefore, you will need to have strong awareness of the technology landscape, implementing the latest in methodologies, libraries and frameworks.

You will have a good grasp of Vanilla JavaScript and feel that you can adapt to different frameworks and libraries fairly seamlessly, in addition, you will have strong knowledge of PHP as well as Laravel, in order to maintain and update some legacy sites which you can expect to work on 20-25% of the time.

With that being said, this role is campaign heavy, and allows for very aesthetic front end builds, including micro sites through to DOOH, giving you scope for real creativity with front end technologies. You do not necessarily need huge amounts of expertise in this area but the role creates a platform to excel in this part of development, presenting a great challenge.

Key skills:
-Solid PHP development skills including knowledge of Laravel
-Fully capable in modern front-end technologies including HTML5 and CSS3
-Good knowledge of Vanilla JavaScript, as well as familiarity of modern frameworks/libraries
-Capable of server-side integration, RESTful APIs and manipulating JSON data
-Ability to implement code development processes such at Git, Gulp, Webpack etc.
-High awareness of mobile first approach, responsive layouts, mobile browser feature compatibility
-Ability to work with PM's to estimate and scope concepts, define a granular roadmap and track progress
