An amazing opportunity to work with an incredible independent media agency, with a real independent spirit. This means that they don't do agency deals. They believe that the best planning comes from putting their clients' needs first. They pride themselves on offering informed, transparent and unparalleled advice on using media effectively, whether the budget is £150k or £3m

You would be working on a motivated team of six, across a diverse set of clients from retail, to pharma, to charity. They're a small agency, so you would have a wide remit; with real opportunities to be involved in other projects should they have the inclination, from new business, to agency PR, to developing processes.


*Regular senior client contact
*Working on a planning and buying capacity
*Co-ordination and development of media proposals, implementation plans and results presentations
*Clear and concise style of writing with a confident and persuasive presentation technique
*Ensure financial admin is always up-to-date: bookings, payments, invoices
*Line-managing and developing a Junior Planner Buyer
*Work closely with a wider group across a range of disciplines, both internal and external, to deliver the best solutions for clients.
*Working with online teams to plan digital as part of a wider comms strategy with a view of developing digital knowledge and practical online skills


*Experience with both planning and buying offline media essential
*Specific digital experience would be an advantage
*A good understanding of how all the media channels operate and their role within the wider media mix
*Capable of developing strong relationships with media owners
*Supervision of media buying and rates and strong negotiating skills
*Advanced knowledge of primary desktop research tools e.g. TGI, Nielsen Have a good understanding of income streams and the profitability of accounts
*Identify new revenue streams from organic and new client business
