A great opportunity to join a high-end luxury retailer, who are in an exciting period of change. With a new senior management team and ambitious plans for growth in the coming years, there is every possibility of the successful candidate going on to grow their own team very quickly.

The current focus of the business is (customer facing) retail, for which they have strong growth plans. Alongside this they will develop an increased trade and commercial department to further extend their sales base.

Who they looking for:

They are seeking a talented and innovative SEO manager with exceptional SEO skills to join their growing ecommerce team. This role will play a key part in building on their current rankings and dominating the online marketplace.

To be effective in this role you will be an experienced SEO with a proven agency or client-side track record. Ideally you will have experience in working with a retail focused website. You will be up to date on the latest trends and changes across search-engine marketing and have an understanding of technical changes, with hands on experience of implementing technical changes.

The ideal candidate will bring knowledge and experience of search ranking and optimisation factors, as well as key algorithm updates, and will be proficient in web analytics and keyword tools.


*Managing on-site and off-site SEO
*Collaborating with content marketing, social media and PR teams, as well as blog contributors, to create high-quality content around important and relevant terms
*Managing organic search-engine performance and goal-setting based on site impressions, click-through rates, traffic and conversions
*Leading a migration to HTTPS:// project
*Overseeing website load times
*Owning SEO KPIs and ensuring rapid growth
*Managing the upkeep of directories
*Conducting regular SEO audits and reporting on a constant basis

The need is for a confident individual who wants to grow with the business and play a key role in strengthening their SEO performance. You will be the lead for SEO, planning the 12 month strategy and executing it in collaboration with the marketing team. They have an external development agency with whom you will work closely on website updates.


*Relevant hands-on agency or client side experience in SEO
*A thorough understanding of algorithm updates and how they operate with social channels
*A thorough understanding of both on and off page SEO, and the desire to continue developing these skills
*Excellent Excel skills, confident in using Google Analytics and experience using SEO tools
*A confident and commercial approach to projects with the ability to utilise budgets creatively and effectively
*Knowledge and understanding in related fields including web analytics, PPC and social media
